The song says it all, really. I dedicate this to my dad. The family Christmas get-together was non-negotiable. Everyone had to be together, no matter how many tables we had to squeeze into one room. He peeled the potatoes and kept the jokes and stories going, and mom did the rest, let's be honest. I know he would have maybe cracked a smile at this one and showed it to all his friends with that proud, almost-cry smile. I have fond memories of Christmas. Setting up the manger scene & making a mess of the place with all the tinsel, mom thinking a toni perm on Christmas Eve was the best option for her little girl, and of course my older siblings always had some sort prank up their sleeve to embarrass me in front of everyone. I fell for it every year.

Several years in the making. Little bits and pieces of lyrics spread over random post-its, receipts, and a base melody that came and went with the breezes. In the heart of the 2018 Christmas season, I was hit square in the face with a melody & groove for the bridge which completed the vibe I was going for. Dave agreed to tackle this tune and produce it to completion,and we laid the track down the next day.

This one is near & dear, therefore will only be available during the Christmas Season, for a pretty penny or more. I will see where every dollar comes from & it will go directly into creating more music for YOU.
